The first Carrington Academy campus was founded in the fall of 2001, by Valorie Davis, a highly-regarded, and fully-licensed child-care provider and an expert in innovative facility design for Early Childhood Educational Institutions. Her fresh thinking into new child-care facilities coupled with her visionary foresight and leadership has brought new life to child-care centers throughout Georgia. Valorie is onsite at the Windermere campus ensuring that your children are being provided the best possible early-childhood educational experience.  

Carrington Academy at Midway Campus Owner:

Mrs. Melissa L. Davis has many years of experience in Early Childhood Education.  Upon receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Developmental Psychology, she began teaching 4th grade in the Georgia Public School System.  Mrs. Davis brings her expertise in curriculum as well as her knowledge of Childhood Development to the child care business.  Her main goals are to provide the best child care possible, to make each child feel successful, and to encourage a love for learning.

Carrington Academy at McFarland Campus Owners:

After opening the Windermere and Midway Campus locations, Mrs. Valorie Davis and Mrs. Melissa Davis decided to expand into the Forsyth County market by acquiring the McFarland Campus. The new Campus location opens August 2nd, 2010 and will serve the South Forsyth / North Fulton market. With 10 years of early childhood education experience, Valorie and Melissa together have been recognized as the top educational child care leaders in Forsyth County. Their goal at the McFarland campus is to capture a world of wonder where curiosity and creativity is promoted, all while discovering and exploring the world around us. Learning takes place in an environment that is designed around whole child development, an approach that integrates learning across all developmental domains. These include social, emotional, physical, cognitive and moral development.
