An integral aspect to Carrington Academy’s educational environment is the support of parents. Parental involvement is important to all schools and especially to our school because these are the formative years for our children. Throughout a child’s educational years, parents are asked to volunteer their time in support of public and private school alike. There is no better time to support your child and your child’s school than in this crucial stage of their development.

Volunteering:
In selecting Carrington Academy at Windermere’s style of education, you have distinguished yourself as wanting more for your children. We ask that you are also willing to give some time and talent to support the very quality education and caring environment that you were seeking. To engage the broad skill sets of parents, Carrington Academy Parent Advisory Council (PAC) has established a range of activity and even subcommittees including:

Teacher/Staff Appreciation
Fundraisers
Parent Subcommittee Leaders
Thanksgiving Luncheon
Holiday Collection for Teachers/Staff
Mother’s/Father’s Day Breakfast
Carrington Family Picnic
Carrington Fall Costume Parade
Spring Fling

Each of the above subcommittees will have a parent assigned to head that particular committee. They will then in turn work with any additional volunteers for that committee that wants to help. Any parent can serve on more than one board. Each committee should only take up to a few hours of your time each month, as we know your time is valuable.

If you can support any of the subcommittees please feel free to contact the front office to get further information on the (PAC).

"I could not be more pleased with the Carrington experience. Both of my girls attend and can't wait to see what activities are in store for them each day. Both classrooms have such nurturing and loving environments that it makes leaving my children so effortless. The level of curriculum at Carrington is outstanding. Each day I see or hear something new that the girls have learned."
