Carrington Academy Announces New Interactive Smart Board Technology Program for the 2011-2012 School Year!

Carrington Academy has partnered with Hatch TeachSmart Learning Systems to supply Smart Board Technology to each of our campuses: Windermere, Midway and McFarland. Each smart board learning system will be used by the following classrooms: Toddlers, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten and After School Programs.

The mission of Carrington Academy is to provide a solid educational foundation and the skills needed to promote and encourage children's success in life-long learning. In keeping with that mission, we are using the latest educational technology for the classroom in order to provide your children the highest exposure toward educational success.

The Smart Board interactive whiteboard system offers teachers and students an unparalleled classroom experience. The teachers will be able to focus on teaching instead of managing technology. They are the ones who control a complete technology creation center that will make learning a dynamic experience for your children. So now the students can listen to a historic speech, watch a documentary, interact with children from another country, participate in daily lesson plan activities and software programs, or tour an art gallery or museum on the Internet. There are over 1,100 research-based activities and lesson plan programs available for children of all ages! The technology is very similar to an iphone or ipad, so children can interact easily with a simple touch!

Combined with cutting edge digital resources and creative teacher preparation, the TeachSmart Learning Systems Smart Board will improve students understanding within the classroom and the world around them.
