Letter From the Principal
Dear Carrington Families,
I hope you all had a delightful Thanksgiving and were able to spend quality time with your families. During the holiday season, more than ever, we are so grateful for our beautiful Carrington Academy Families and want to take a moment to say ,”Thank you for all of your love and support.” We are who we are, because of our amazing parents, children, and teachers and are forever thankful and blessed that we have the opportunity to be a part of your lives. May this be a season of blessings, for you and yours, and may it be a time to look outward to those less fortunate than we.
Once again, we will be participating in “KARE for KIDS,” this holiday season. Their mission is, “Making the World a Brighter Place, One Child at A Time”. KARE’s main focus is providing the opportunity for every child in our communities to have a Christmas they deserve. You will notice, in our lobby on and around our tree, STARS. Each star will have a particular item on it that is needed or wished for. If you desire, please take one or more stars. Please bring your unwrapped gift, with the star attached, and place it under the tree. I am thrilled to be a part of this mission! Last year, with your help, we were able to support 4 local families and provide assistance to them during the holiday season.
We have many exciting things in store, for 2016! We have already begun registration for Kindergarten and First Grade!. We are excited to offer a new opportunity for all pre-registered Kindergarten students for the 2016-2017 school year. They will become members of our “kindergarten club” and begin visiting their Kindergarten class now! In addition, we will begin registering for Private Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten, in January. Remember that our Transitional Kindergarten is designed for children who have late birthdays or who miss the September 1 Kindergarten cut off. This a fantastic program that takes the children from where they are in Private Pre K, closes any gaps there may be, as well as enriches them, individually, to be prepared academically, socially and emotionally for the rigors of Kindergarten. Our Kindergarten will be aged based, so children must be 5 by September 1st . Please be on the lookout for information about both programs. I leave you with this thought… “This moment, this day, this season, will never come again. Treasure it, and treasure your children, who make it special and memorable.”
May Your Days Be Merry and Bright,
Tiffany Batts
