A Note From Our Principal

A Note From our Principal:

Wow! What an unbelievable beginning to 2016.  Despite the few snow days that interrupted our month, we had a very successful start to 2016 and I want to offer my thanks for your continuing support!  Now that the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is finished, I hope you have been able to spend some time during this first month of the year to focus on your goals and aspirations for 2016.

As we enter into our enrollment season, please remember that February 8th is the deadline for pre-registration for august 2016 classes.  Please complete and turn in your registration paperwork, in order to guarantee your spot for the new school year.  Classes are filling up fast!!!  Our teachers will be competing to turn in 100% of registration paperwork.  The first classroom to turn in all fall registration will not only win a teacher prize, but will also win a classroom party for the students.

With that that being said, I am so excited for February and all that it has to offer.   I have embraced our “Kiss a Pig” Fundraiser for the past four years, and have puckered up each year to kiss a slimy snout.  As gross as it sounds, this is one of my favorite fundraisers of the year, and I enjoy being able to put all of the funds raised towards our teachers specifically.  In addition to our Kiss a Pig fundraiser, this year we will also be selling “Love Lions” that are similar to our  “Elf Grams” that we sell in December.  All “Love Lion” proceeds will go directly towards our Relay for Life fundraising efforts.

I am excited for February to fill the air with love!  Mr. Fred Rogers said it best when he said: “Knowing that we can be loved exactly as we are gives us all the best opportunity for growing into the healthiest of people.”  Our goal at Carrington is for each child to know how truly special and unique they are, and that they are always loved unconditionally.

Partnering With You In The Journey,
Tiffany Batts
