Monthly Curriculum
This is a glimpse of what each classroom will be focusing on in the upcoming Month. Please see the classroom bulletin board for more detailed lessons.
Infant
Baby Sign Language this month is “Brother” and “Sister”. To sign the word brother, make both hands into an “L” shape. Hold one hand down by your chest and place the other hand at our forehead. Bring your top hand down to meet your lower hand. To sign the word “Sister”, make the same motion as “brother”, but place your one hand at your chin and the other at the front of our chest.
Toddler
Art projects are creative and fun ways to develop our child’s fine motor skills. Small muscle activities, such as painting, help your child learn to control her hand and finger movements, while developing creativity and independence.
Beginner
This month, your child will answer “what” and “where” questions, understand the concept of five, and identify the names of family members.
Intermediate
This month, your child will add together two groups of objects, learn about various forms of transportation, and understand the meaning of traffic lights.
Pre-K
This month, your child will sound out unfamiliar words independently, count by fives up to 25, and create and interpret a pie chart.

Dab peanut butter on to the back of the ‘lady bug’, then stick raisins onto the dabs for spots. Use this method to make eyes too. Stick one end of each pretzel stick into a raisin, then press the other end into the apples to make antennae.
