November Newsletter

Dear Carrington Academy Suwanee Families,

It looks like Fall is finally here!  We had a great turnout for our Fall Festival, thanks to the families, teachers and admin who helped coordinate this fun community event. It was a great way to roll into the Fall season.

As I look back on the school year thus far, I realize more and more how blessed I feel to be on this journey with each of you. I am so excited to partner with you to make this the best place for each and every one of the children we have been entrusted with. As always, please know I am here and available if you ever need me. With the holiday season quickly coming upon us, we will begin a whirlwind of activities. As we rush into all the festivities with family and friends, I ask that each of you take a few minutes beginning November 1st, to help us with our Afterschool Program Can Food Drive. It is our hope that we will be able to help many families less fortunate have a warm holiday meal. What better way to help our children understand being “thankful” than by giving back to others. Won’t you please help?  There will be a large box in the lobby to collect the canned or dry goods, and will end on November 10th.

We hope everyone will be able to join us for our Thanksgiving luncheon on November 17th as we celebrate with our extended Carrington family! More information and times will follow.

Also, please be sure to see your child’s classroom door to sign up for a conference time if you have not already.  Even if you are unable to meet on the scheduled date for your class, you are welcome to schedule another time that is mutually agreeable between you and the teacher.  All students will have a progress report sent home.

For all those traveling this month to and from family for the Thanksgiving Holiday, I wish you a very safe trip!

Praying for a warm, family-focused Thanksgiving for all
