Dear Carrington Families,
We are so glad to continue more fun holiday activities for your families to enjoy! It’s a fun time of the year where we get to learn about different traditions from cultures from all over the world. Our schools is partnering with Kare for Kids, and Cumming First United Methodist Church to give back to the families in need in our community during the holiday season.
Kare for Kids is doing the Star Tree. These are the red stars hanging on the tree in our lobby. The different stars have the age a of the child and things that they are in need of or a toy they they are wanting for the holiday’s. We will need back all items back by December 8!
December 4- Relay for Life Jeans Day $2
December 12- National Gingerbread House Day, Students will create one with their class!
December 14- Polar Express and PJ Day
December 15- National Ugly Sweater Day
December 20- Class Holiday Parties
December 22- Sand Art Cart, Beginners-Camp
December 22- January 5 -Camp, during this times students will enjoy fun filled activities and field trips such as Cici’s Pizza, Ink, a Movie, and Southeastern Railway Museum.
December 25-26- Closed in observance to Christmas
If your child will be attending any of our camp days we need to know by December 15!
During this time of the year our students will get to use their different skills that they are learning to create crafts and gifts for the holiday time. The teachers are so excited to be able to work with the children to create such special things for this time of the year.
