A Note From Our Principal
We are overjoyed at the response from you all in support of our Holiday Giving activities! This year we partnered with members from the Brian Parks Foundation and we collected an overwhelming abundance of gifts for an Aflac Cancer Center family. Your contributions benefited 3-year-old Sarah and her family. My heart was so touched by your generosity to help little Sarah and her family during such a difficult time. I know Sarah’s family will feel your love and strength this Holiday Season. Your generosity did not stop with Sarah and her family. You also helped support many Forsyth County children in need. We partnered with Forsyth County Fire Department to help make this holiday season just a little brighter by donating toys to the Aerial’s House toy collection. Our Private Pre K I & II students delivered your generous donation of toys to the Brookwood Fire station. While delivering toys, Our Private Pre K I & II students also delivered handmade cards and cookies to our local firefighters. Carrington Academy is so fortunate to have so many amazing, caring families.
I have enjoyed sharing this special time of the year with each of your precious children. It is a time to reflect on where we have been and what we have achieved as well. As we move into the new year, we look forward to spending more time getting to know your family and building a community together. Thank you for all the support you have given me. I cannot tell you how much your trust means to me. Thank you to everyone who opened their hearts to others in need and those less fortunate. My hope is that we were able to show our children what it means to be truly blessed.
Need a school communications refresher after the busy holiday season? This month’s newsletter has details on how you can stay involved in your child’s learning, receive memorable photos, be aware of holidays and closures and prepare for the season ahead.
Happy New Year to you and yours!
