Monthly Curriculum
Infants
The sign of the month is, “All Done”. To sign the phrase, “All done”, place both hands in front of your chest and flip them outwards and inwards. For further assistance, have your child’s teacher demonstrate how to make this sign.
Toddlers
This month, your child will use music and song to add fun and happiness to their day. Moving to music helps your child learn that she can use her muscles in different and fun ways. Songs will help them practice words they are just learning to say.
Beginners
This month, your child will learn to connect the events in stories to her own life experiences, match animals with their sounds, and continue identifying shapes and colors.
Intermediates
This month, your child will learn to count to 30, recognize numbers 1-10, and identify animals and their habitats.
Pre-K
This month, your child will identify the word in a series of three that does not rhyme, sort object into categories, and practice subtraction.
Read Together, Talk Together
Here are the literacy pieces we will be focusing on in the month of February in our Read Together, Talk Together curriculum.
