Monthly Curriculum
Infant
In our infant program, we start using baby sign language from the earliest months. Baby signs are common terms that have been modified and simplified from American Sign Language. The sign for this month is “eat”. To sign this phrase make an “O” shape with your hand and bring your hand up to your mouth repeatedly.
Toddlers
As your toddler’s vocabulary continues to develop, they will begin to describe the size of objects in more detail using words such as big and small.
Beginners
This month, your child will recognize her first name in print, identify aspects of nature that we associate with spring, and create art using basic shapes.
Intermediate
This month, your child will discuss characters in a story, learn to count to 40, and mimic sounds in nature.
Pre-K
This month, your child will retell stories, identify the different parts of a book (i.e. cover, title page, table of contents), describe a five-step task in sequential order.
Read Together, Talk Together
–Tale of Peter Rabbit by: Beatrix Potter
–Over in the Meadow by: Ezra Jack Keats
-Mouse’s First Spring by: Lauren Thompson
