Monthly Curriculum
Infants
This month’s baby sign is “Book”. To sign the word Book, press your hands together, palm-to-palm. Holding your pinky fingers together, open up your hands as if opening a book.
Toddlers
This month your child will begin developing their knowledge of numbers. Children listen carefully as they hear adults count and talk about the size and weight of items. Participating in number activities with your child will help develop his counting skills.
Beginners
This month, your child will feel and describe different textures and temperatures, name the shapes of three-dimensional objects, and identify objects found at the beach.
Intermediates
This month, your child will talk about events using past and future tense, learn to write his first name in print, and memorize and sign patriotic songs.
Pre-K
This month, your child will attempt to sound out unknown words in text, count by tens up to 100, and identify various forms of transportation.
Read Together, Talk Together
