Monthly Curriculum
Infant
In our infant program, we start using baby sign language from the earliest months. Baby signs are common terms that have been modified and simplified from American Sign Language. The sign for this month is ” BOOK”. To sign “BOOK” press your hands together, palm-to-palm. Holding your pinky fingers together, open your hands as if opening a book.
Toddler
This month, toddlers will be working on numbers. A child’s knowledge of numbers begins developing at a young age. Children listen carefully as they hear teachers count and talk about the size and weight of items.
Beginner
This month beginners will feel and describe different textures and temperatures, name the shapes of three-dimensional objects found at the beach.
Intermediate
This month, intermediate will talk about events using past and future tense, learn to write his/her first name in print, and memorize and sing patriotic songs.
Pre-K
This month, Pre-k will learn opposite words, use a wide range of descriptive vocabulary, and continue to build subtraction skills.
Open House
Our back to school open house is July 29th 2018 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. We would like to invite all of our private families to engage with new teachers in your children’s new classrooms. We hope to see everything there!
