The sign of the month is “BEAR”. To sign the word bear, make your hands into claws and cross your arms by your chest. Scratch up and down repeatedly.
Your toddler may have begun to imitate the actions of those around him. For example, he may pick up a block and pretend to talk on the telephone. this type of imaginative play can help develop social skills, creativity and increased vocabulary.
This month, your child will learn the words to familiar songs, follow multi-step directions, and name places in her community (i.e. park, school, grocery store).
This month, your child will learn to differentiate between numbers and letters, repeat patterns of three, and identify personal characteristics.
Private Pre-K I

Private Pre-K II
This month, your child will use adjectives to describe people and objects, finish incomplete sentences in poems and nursery rhymes, and learn about tempo in music.
Back to School Reminders
It is a season of change throughout our school here at Carrington Academy at McFarland. Children are moving on to the next classroom, new teachers are joining our team and classroom re-arrangements have been made. It is important during this time to remember to be patient as the children adapt, and if you need anything, please do not hesitate to come to us. We are here for you and your family during this transition and always.
