Monthly Curriculum
Infant
In our infant program, we start using baby sign language from the earliest months. Baby signs are common terms that have been modified and simplified from American Sign Language. The sign for this month is “Happy”. To sign the word “happy” place your hands in front of your chest and brush upwards repeatedly.
Toddler
This month your toddler will begin to listen more intently and respond to familiar words by shouting, gesturing or reaching for objects. They will start to babble more, and these babbling sounds will evolve into a mix of real and made-up words and phrases.
Beginner
This month, your child will practice size, color and shape vocabulary, repeat numbers 1-10, and follow two-step directions.
Intermediate
This month, your child will learn to differentiate between numbers and letters, repeat patterns of three, and identify personal characteristics.
Pre-k
This month, your child will use adjectives to describe people and objects, finish incomplete sentences in poems and nursery rhymes, and learn about tempo music.
