Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., recently named its Principal and Teachers of the Year at the organization’s annual principal conference in Las Vegas. Nobel Learning Communities’ Principal and Teacher of the Year program recognize principals and teachers who standout by demonstrating a strong commitment to inspire, motivate and educate students and staff alike.
The winners are:
- Preschool Principal of the Year – Stacy Stotler, from Chesterbrook Academy in Bloomsburg, Ill. Stotler has a reputation of being a strong leader and a role model of professionalism mixed with fun and enthusiasm, always inspiring her team to rise to the challenge. Her parents appreciate her commitment to doing whatever it takes to make the school run smoothly, consistently reporting their high satisfaction and citing her as a reason they love the school.
- K + Principal of the Year – Lydia Soto, from Chesterbrook Academy in Sterling, Va. Soto is known for her empathy for others and her dedication to her position. She is very passionate about community service and frequently partners with other Chesterbrook Academy locations in the area to organize donation drives and other projects designed to teach students about the importance of giving back. She has been with the school since 2000.
- Preschool Teacher of the Year – Nancy Strickland, from Chesterbrook Academy in Mooresville, N.C., Strickland has been a Pre-K2 teacher at Chesterbrook Academy for five years. She is dedicated to making her classroom exciting and engaging, creating lesson plans based on students’ interests and skills. Parents appreciate her caring nature and her commitment to open communication.
- K+ Teacher of the Year – Whitney Ball, from Evergreen Academy in Bothell, Wash. Ball has been a first grade teacher at Evergreen Academy for 13 years. She is known for inspiring both her students and her colleagues to reach their full potential. As lead literacy teacher and first grade team leader, she consistently energizes her colleagues and entire school community.
