We believe that when parents and teachers work as partners in a child’s education, the learning experience is richer and more meaningful. Of course, our teachers and staff are always there for you to discuss your goals, needs and concerns for your child. We also provide daily, monthly and quarterly written updates so that you are always in the know.
Links 2 Home
Links 2 Home creates open, streamlined communication between families and school. What our families love most about our app is receiving a reassuring photo of their child each day. Not only can they see that their child is happy and engaged, but also see how the featured activity connects to one of our Links to Learning skills. In addition, you’ll also be kept informed of your child’s meals, naps and toileting throughout the day. Families can also send updates to their child’s teacher and receive important communications from the school. Download Links 2 Home on the App Store or Google Play.
Monthly Folder
We know you’ll love the excitement on your child’s face when they review their projects with you at the end of each month. The folder includes samples of your child’s work, along with a link to view all the skills and goals achieved that month. You’ll also receive a letter with activity suggestions for continuing the learning at home.
Family Reports and Conferences
Although you’ll always be kept updated on your child’s progress, teachers complete formal family reports three times annually, in the fall, winter and spring. One of the most exciting facets of our family communication toolbox is the conference with your child’s teacher. While families are encouraged to connect with teachers at any time with questions or concerns, conferences offer a dedicated time to review the family report and identify areas of improvement and mastery.
Family Boards
At our schools, family boards are truly a wealth of information. There you’ll find the weekly lesson plan and skill sheet, learning outcomes for the year, Spanish vocabulary we’re working on, and more. It’s a real-time way to keep up with what’s happening in your child’s classroom.
