Happy Fall Ya’ll! It’s our favorite time of the year when the leaves change colors, the air is a little cooler, and full of family time. We have an exciting month ahead of us! Starting off the month with celebrating our parents, and then on to our Annual Fall Festival, full of family activities. Don’t forget to mark all of our upcoming events on your calendar!
October : We have started to collected donations for our Fall Festival Raffle Basket! Your Child’s classroom will have the list for their basket!
October 6: Parent Appreciation Breakfast – Come join us for Danish’s, Donuts, and Coffee!
October 9-20: We will be having our annual Yankee Candle Fundraiser, these proceeds will go to our school!
October 13: Pink Out Day! Raising awareness for Breast Cancer!
October 14: Annual Fall Festival – Come join us for lots of family fun!
October 18-19: Fall Pictures- Uniform Pictures for our Private Programs (3’s-TK)
October 20: Decorate a Pumpkin Day – Don’t forget to bring a pumpkin for you child to decorate!
October 23-30: Carrington Spirit Week: Monday- Relay for Life Jeans Day $2, Tuesday-Disney Day, Wednesday- Nerd Day, Thursday-Twin Day, Friday- Decades Day, Monday-Halloween PJ Day!
October 31: Trunk or Treat and Halloween Parties (If you haven’t signed up for Trunk or Treating please do so at our front desk!)
Fall Clothing Reminder:
Fall is a great time to go through your child’s cubby and ensure they have the items needed to enjoy the coming months. Your child should have a complete change of clothes in their cubby that includes :
- Pants
- Long Sleeves Shirts/Light Sweater
- Socks
- Underwear
We are looking forward to lots of outdoor time as the weather cools down, and closed toed shoes are necessary for playing on the playground, and participating in outdoor lessons. Please ensure your child has appropriate footwear.
We are so excited to experience all of these events with our families and students!
