A note from our Assistant Principal
Thank you for the love and appreciation you all showed our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week last month. We value your involvement! Last month we enjoyed being outdoors together, celebrating Mother’s Day, and getting our classrooms ready for summer. Our Summer Camp programs officially kick-off on May 29th and we’ll be sending lots of updates on our daily activities through Links 2 Home. We can’t wait to spend summer with you and your family!
Sincerely,
Jamie Highfield
Summer Camp Reminders–Links 2 Home
Do you have a school-age child attending camp this summer? Though school-age children do not receive daily reports Links 2 Home is essential in ensuring your child has a great camp experience this summer. Links 2 Home ensures that:
- You receive notifications about field trips and special events
- Children know what to bring or wear to camp for various activities
- Notes and absences notifications can be sent to camp staff
- You’re always involved in your child’s learning and fun through photos and notes
If you’ve not already done so, please type ‘Links 2 Home’ in the search bar for the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. After downloading Links 2 Home you can register with the same email address that you used to enroll your child in our school.
Warm Weather Reminders
Please send a labeled water bottle and sunscreen to school with your child if you’ve not already done so. In addition to keeping a bottle at school, campers in our school-age program should come to school having already applied sunscreen for the day. They can also bring labeled insect repellent as it may be needed on some field trips. Thank you!
Vacation Reminders
Heading out of town this summer? Please remember to notify us if you will be using your vacation credit so we can ensure you’re properly billed.
